A really big deal was made about Tyra Banks baring her ‘real’ hair on the Tyra show. On the show and whatever talk show would have her, she waxed on and on about how she felt it was her responsibilty to show people that she doesn’t wake up in the morning looking like the glamazon she does in magazines. In theory I applaud her for trying to "keep it real" or whatever.

Of course during this whole thing her stylist never left her relaxed-headed side with his comb and his clippers. It might have been more real if she had invited us to the Revlon Relaxing session with the protective jar of Vaseline.
